New Year’s Resolutions!

As the holidays come to an end and the new year approaches us, so do those resolutions we are so eager to obtain.

Studies show that less than 10 percent of those who make resolutions end up keeping them.

What can we do to make sure we hit our New Year’s goal? We got just the thing!

Take simple steps

Every year the majority make the same goals. If those goals are to loose weight, eat healthy, exercise more, make more money, ect.

Instead of making a huge list of goals, starting off simple is the best way to stay on track.

If the resolution is to become healthy, start by committing to walking twice a week. Once you trained yourself and your body to do so then you can go to the gym and start a routine.

Make a vision board.

A vision board is where you write down every goal you want to reach for the year.

You can write them down in a list, paste pictures related to those goals. Then you must place the board somewhere you can easily see it daily. It will be a reminder for you that these are your goals and every time you scratch something off your list it will give you motivation for the next.

Make your goals attainable.

There are goals that should be classified as long term goals. Resolutions should be short term and help you be able to reach those that are long term. If the long term goal is to be a millionaire, the resolution can be to save a percentage of your paycheck into a savings account, and/or look for smart ways to invest.

Whatever your goals and dreams are, make every decision count and enjoy the process.

May this new year bring an abundance of peace, blessings and happiness to your life and those around you!
